David Bowie Beats Bon Jovi
"The Next Day", is the first new album from Bowie in almost a decade and is his first No. 1 since 1993's "Black Tie White Noise."
The album sold over 94,000 copies its first week in stores to claim the title of the fastest selling album of the year so far, according to The Official Charts Company.
The title was previously held by Biffy Clyro's "Opposites," which sold 71,600 copies during its opening week back in January.
