A source close to the singer tells Hollyscoop that Christina "was very excited to show everyone her new look and is very excited about her slimmer figure."

While she considers her current weight still "a work in progress," Christina attributes her trimmer and more toned reemergence to good eating habits and regular trips to her home gym.

Mostly, though, the weight loss is due to the singer's looser schedule.

"Now that she doesn't have such a crazy hectic schedule as when she was doing 'The Voice,'" the source says. "Basically, she has had more time to focus on herself."

It goes without saying that the lighter calendar also helps with being a good mom to her son, Max Liron.

Going on the family theme, Christina will open this year's Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, set to air March 26.
