Queens Of The Stone Age Reveal New Album Name and Song Samples

(Gibson) Queens Of The Stone Age's new album is called ...Like Clockwork. Small snippets of tracks from the album are available right now at the band's website, QOTSA.com.

Refresh the page and click on the 'Q' to hear different clips, but don't expect to get much of a feel for what the record will ultimately sound like: the clips are rather abstract and ambient, and Josh Homme and co are obviously playing their hand pretty close to their chests on this one.

Like Clockwork features guest appearances from, well everyone! Or at least, Elton John, Mark Lanegan (Screaming Trees), Dave Grohl (who returns to the QOTSA drum seat), Nine Inch Nails mastermind Trent Reznor, Scissor Sisters vocalist Jake Shears, and even former QOTSA bass player Nick Oliveri.

Grohl won't be joining the band on the road though, so they'll announce their new live drummer shortly. more on this story
