Chris Kelly of Kriss Kross Dead At 34

Chris Kelly, who rose to fame in the 1990s as a member of the child rap duo Kriss Kross, died on Wednesday in Atlanta and police suspect that is may have been caused by a possible drug overdose. He was 34.

He was found unconscious in his home and was pronounced dead around 5:30PM EST on Wednesday at the south campus of the Atlanta Medical Center, according to FOX 5 in Atlanta (via TMZ.)

Fox News reports that Cpl. Kay Lester of the Fulton County police said "it appears it may have been a possible drug overdose." But an official cause of death will not be determined until after an autopsy.

The group was best known for their hit song "Jump."
