As I Lay Dying's Tim Lambesis Pleads Not Guilty of Murder-For-Hire Plot
. Radio.com have a report with more background details on the case: In the aftermath of the bizarre incident, divorce papers filed by the singer's estranged wife Meggan in September of last year have been revealed (via UT San Diego), with claims that the heavy metal frontman was more concerned with living the good life than caring for the couple's three adopted Ethiopian children. Citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce after eight years of marriage, Meggan detailed issues "that concern me regarding his ability to care for our three children. Specifically, he has become obsessed with bodybuilding and spends a great deal of time lifting weights, hanging out in the gym, and being unavailable to the children." Also among the wife's claims are charges that the singer had fallen asleep while supervising the kids near the swimming pool and at the beach, and would ignore them while on the phone. She went on to say that he'd spent exorbitant amounts of money on vehicles and tattoos, and had a mistress in Florida. Meggan added that she quit her private school teaching job to be a stay-at-home parent. She noted in the divorce documents that the couple claimed $233,000 in gross income for the year 2010. Spousal support, if any, was not listed. more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
