Lynyrd Skynyrd Guitarist Wins Two Native American Music Awards

(hennemusic) Lynyrd Skynyrd guitarist Ricky Medlock picked up two honors at the 14th annual Native American Music Awards on Friday, May 10 at the Seneca Niagara Hotel & Casino in Niagara Falls, NY.

Medlock won for Best Theme Song for "Native Colors" and for Best Long Form Film for "Homeland Nation." "We're so proud of his contributions & achievements! Great job Rickey!" posted the band.

Skynyrd are currently touring in support of their latest album, "Last Of A Dyin' Breed." Next month, the band hook up with Bad Company to co-headline a US tour that takes the bands coast-to-coast for 12 dates. more on this story
