(Radio.com) An American Airlines flight from Los Angeles to New York's John F. Kennedy Airport made an emergency stop in Kansas City last week, but not because of mechanical problems or something harrowingly serious, unless you have an intense dislike of Whitney Houston.

American Airlines Flight No. 4 was forced to make an emergency landing last Thursday (May 9) to remove a "very unruly passenger," according to the airline. The female passenger was escorted off the plane because she would not stop singing Houston's cover of "I Will Always Love You," made famous through the film The Bodyguard.

"The woman was being disruptive and was removed from the plane for interfering with the flight crew," Joe McBride, Kansas City Airport spokesman, said. "There was a federal air marshal on the aircraft, who subdued the woman and put her in cuffs."

A video of the incident has surfaced via local TV station KCTV. The 15-second clip shows the woman being led off the plane, still singing the song, while those in charge reminded passengers that photos or video were not to be taken onboard.

After the woman was removed, the flight continued as usual to New York. According to KCTV, the passenger was released without charges, though American Airlines would not fly her to her destination. Check out video and read more here.
