Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine Give Millions To USC For Moguls Program

The money will be used to instate the Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy for Arts, Technology and the Business of Innovation at USC, with a four-year curriculum that spans a range of disciplines including marketing, computer science, entrepreneurship and the arts. "If the next start-up that becomes Facebook happens to be one of our kids, that's what we are looking for," Iovine told the New York Times. Renowned for working with such artists as Bruce Springsteen and Stevie Nicks in the '70s and '80s, Iovine went on to found Interscope Records in 1990, which is now home to acts including Lady Gaga, No Doubt, Nine Inch Nails and Dr. Dre.
