Arrest Warrant For Rapper Who May Have Faked His Own Death
. Last week (May 15), Memphis CBS affiliate WREG reported that Tim Dog may have faked his own death to avoid paying debts, as per Esther Pilgrim, a woman whom Blair owed $32,000. Now, an arrest warrant has been issued for Tim Dog in Desoto County, Mississippi. "I need proof," prosecutor Steven Jubera told WREG. "I need a death certificate showing that he's dead because as far as I'm concerned, he's alive." Jubera originally convicted the rapper of grand larceny in 2011, after the rapper defrauded many women including Pilgrim, whom he met through an online dating site. Tim Dog was best known for his 1991 hit "F*** Compton," a scathing diss track aimed at the West Coast hip-hop scene and said to ignite the East Coast-West Coast rivalry in rap music in the '90s. more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
