Keith Urban Announces New Album Release Date
. Fuse will be Urban's seventh studio release and his first in nearly three years, following up 2010′s Get Closer. He tweeted, "The 'Fuse' has been lit!!!! New album coming September 10!!!! -KU" According to a statement on his website, Urban took some chances on his latest project. "I really wanted to challenge myself musically" and "expand the boundaries of my sound, rhythm and melody, while still remaining true to who I am," he wrote. "Working with various co-producers while making Fuse has been so inspiring and liberating � and we ain't even done yet!" In an interview with USA Today, Urban noted that producers he's worked with on Fuse so far include Nathan Chapman, Butch Walker, Dann Huff, Jay Joyce and Mike Elizondo. And all told, he's cut basic tracks for about 16 songs.
