Peter Gabriel Streaming Just Completed Unreleased Song From So Album

. (Classic Rock) Peter Gabriel has released a track called Courage, which he started in 1986 but only recently completed to his satisfaction. He began work on the song during sessions for classic album So, which included the hit singles Sledgehammer and Don't Give Up, featuring Kate Bush.

But he admits he was never satisfied with Courage, which appeared in its unfinished form on So's 25th anniversary edition. Recently the ex-Genesis frontman and guitarist David Rhodes added overdubs, and producer Tchad Blake completed the "radio edit", which is now available as a digital single.

"When So drew to a close I didn't feel the song was delivering the way I'd hoped, so I decided not to include it," Gabriel explains. "When we were reviewing all the material from that time we wanted to take a fresh look at it and get it finished. I always liked the track and very much enjoyed the playing on it � especially the energy of the drums." Listen to it here.
