Lady Gaga's Full ArtRAVE Show Streaming Online
. To celebrate the birth of Gaga's sparkly new collection of songs, the mother monster held an extravagant "ArtRAVE" along an industrial stretch of Brooklyn's Navy Pier, where she elevated the idea of an album release party into a full-blown multimedia event that featured set pieces by such celebrated modern artists as Jeff Koons and Marina Abramovic. The bombastic performance that kicked off well past midnight featured Gaga performing ARTPOP's first song, "Aura," in a white body suit that covered her head in front of a massive Jeff Koons sculpture of the new album's cover image. Moving between the sculpture and the main stage across the warehouse space, Gaga played most of the new full-length, with highlights including the R. Kelly-assisted slow-burning electro groove, "Do What U Want," although Kelly was not on hand to perform his vocals live. ArtRAVE is Lady Gaga at her most grandiose and audacious, daring to push, destroy and reconstruct pop music much into something that is beautiful, challenging and kind of terrifying all at the same time.
