(Radio.com) For her session with BBC's Radio 1 Live Lounge, Miley Cyrus tried her hand at Lana Del Rey's "Summertime Sadness." Though she didn't stray too far from the original, Miley makes it all her own and frankly, out-sings Lana.

Miley, keeping things demure in all black, picks up where "Wrecking Ball" left off and finds her sweet spot on the ballad. With help from her backup singers, Miley, in all her gravel-voiced glory, makes the line, "I just wanted you to know/That baby you're the best" more than just a compliment.

In an interview with the BBC yesterday (Nov. 12), Miley said that she considers herself to be a feminist. "I feel like I'm one of the biggest feminists in the world because I tell women to not be scared of anything," she said. Watch the video and read more here.
