(hennemusic) The Rolling Stones have sold out their March 22 show at the redeveloped Adelaide Oval, with more than 50,000 tickets snapped up within three hours of going on sale Monday.
The Adelaide stop is first date announced of a 2014 tour of Australia and New Zealand. The Rolling Stones will announce more shows in the next few weeks; the band has confirmed that guitarist Mick Taylor will be joining them for the tour.
The group recently released their new concert film, "Sweet Summer Sun – Hyde Park Live." The Stones were recorded at July's historic Hyde Park shows, which saw the band play two concerts before a combined total of more than 100,000 fans. more on this story
