Status Quo Frontman Has Had Suicidal Thoughts

(Classic Rock) Status Quo frontman Francis Rossi has admitted to having near suicidal thoughts on occasion. And he says that when he's feeling low, thinking about the successes of his career doesn't help.

Quo released their 100th single earlier this year and have just been confirmed to play next year's Download festival. They've also booked another run of shows featuring the Frantic Four lineup.

But Rossi tells This Is Cornwall: "People think I'm stinking rich, which isn't the case. I'm well off and I have eight great kids, a great wife and a lovely house.

"But there have been times in my life where I've been sad, if not suicidal. Sometimes you think 'I just want it to stop.' When you feel like that money doesn't help." more on this story
