The Avett Brothers Serenade Skeletons in 'Another Is Waiting' Video
While the banjo-infused song itself discusses the insecurities fashion magazines have on women, the video brings the world of haute couture to life in a very scary way. In the opening scene, a woman enters a modeling agency, aptly titled Pricuf Aim (aka "Price of Fame"). Once she walks up the stairs to the casting room she's surrounded by a room full of skeletons literally. "But I love you and I care/ So you got to get yourself off that conveyor belt," they sing.
The Scott Avett co-directed clip brings the modeling life to light. In an interview with Radio.com earlier this year, Scott said Magpieout Oct. 15originally was planned as the second installment to their previous release, 2012′s The Carpenter.
"We initially thought of this as part two but we realize it's its own thing. It's a very interesting occurrence we didn't intend. It's a nice surprise," he said. more on this story
