(Radio.com) After teasing their diehard fan community with celebrity interviews and the nu-power-ballad "Sirens," legendary Seattle rock outfit Pearl Jam is finally previewing the band's tenth studio album Lightning Bolt in its entirety.

Listeners interested in giving the new release a test-drive this week can access it via iTunes by opening Pearl Jam's artist page here for the full week ahead of the official October 15 release date.

The slow-burning single "Sirens" was discussed during the band's series of unorthodox interviews regarding the new album with such modern-day luminaries as Portlandia star Carrie Brownstein and film director Judd Apatow.

Pearl Jam's bass player, Jeff Ament, talked about how the songs title was derived from the actual sound of police sirens in the night during a stay in Los Angeles. The band's guitarist, Mike McCready, referred to "Sirens" as the Lightning Bolt song he's most proud of on the album, referring to it as "a high water mark." more on this story
