Crowbar and Soilent Green's Tommy Buckley Cancer Free

10/10/2013
.
(TeamRock Radio) Crowbar and Soilent Green drummer Tommy Buckley has been given the all-clear from cancer after undergoing surgery in August. He had his prostate gland removed as a precaution after cancer cells were discovered and he and his family have been waiting for news ever since.

"Cancer was in a small part of his prostate but doctors suggested the total removal to present the spreading of cells," Soilent Green say in a statement. "Today Tommy got his blood test results, and he has a clean bill. No cancer, prostate specific antogen (PSA) level 0. This is the best news ever!"

They report Buckley and wife Lisa have "had the most positive attitudes through all this," and that Buckley hasn't stopped playing the drums at any time. more on this story
