Legal Battle Over Use of Van Halen Name
. According to the report, Alex Van Halen was married to his second wife Kelly Carter for twelve years beginning in 1984 and now, almost two decades after the couple divorced, the band's intellectual property holding company ELVH Inc is taking legal action against Alex's former wife for her use of the Van Halen name in trade.
