Metallica Star Thinks Internet Services Are Destroying Music

(Gibson) Metallica's Hammett feels that social networking, iTunes and streaming have not been good for music. The guitarist was interviewed by Brazilian site R7 and made feelings known.

"There haven't been a lot of really, really great bands that have shown that kind of promise," he said. "I think it's a concern. Because of things like iTunes and streaming and social networking, it's destroyed music.
