(Extra) Oscar winner Michael Douglas stopped to talk to "Extra's" Jerry Penacoli at the premiere of his new film "Last Vegas" in Las Vegas. Michael is setting the record straight about the report he was just photographed reuniting with wife Catherine Zeta-Jones.
Douglas saying that he could not have been spotted with Catherine recently in Greenwich, CT, because he has not been home, "I don't know where that picture is, but I haven't been home yet…I've been in New Mexico making a picture called "The Reach" for the last 5 weeks…So, I look forward to getting home, but that wasn't me…Must've been a look alike."
Michael also clearing up his cancer controversy and why he told the world his tongue cancer was throat cancer. "It was tongue cancer… For those who knew of it as a tumor because it involved a lot of surgery which would not be very attractive so we chose to announce it as throat cancer which took the pressure off having people having to fantasize about tongue cancers, if it doesn't work out you have to have a lot of surgery." Michael went on to say he is thankful it all worked out. more on this story
