Born and raised in Oakland, California, Zendaya talked about growing up on the west coast and having to drive with her dad to L.A. auditions that were six hour away. With both of her parents with her, you can tell Zendaya stays grounded in life and stays humble even when talking to her fans.

Her advice is to "always never to grow up too fast�we always want to do what we see our idols are doing�and it's okay if you're 13 be 13, if you're 17 like I am be 17 [be]cause you're only that age once."

Zendaya has a wide array of music that she listens to from Luther Vandross and Bob Marley to Rascal Flatts and Miley Cyrus. And speaking of another Disney star, the Maddhouse asked her if she was a fan of Miley Cyrus:

"I like Miley, I do. And I like her new music I honestly do�but hey I'm a little different from her in some ways�She's still very talented and has a beautiful voice so that's the positive."
