(TeamRock Radio) Nightwish mainman Tuomas Holopainen has revealed the band decided to make Floor Jansen their permanent vocalist during the summer – even though they'd told fans no decision would be made until 2014.
She was brought in at short notice a year ago to replace Anette Olzon, then earlier this month it was announced she'd be staying on full time. Touring member Troy Donockley has also become a permanent fixture.
Now Holopainen tells DeadRhetoric: "We realised we were coming up with the DVD release soon and we'd be doing a lot of talking. It would just feel silly and awkward not to say things out loud.
"We knew what would happen already in June or July. We'd decided. So we decided with the other guys in the band to go public with it." more on this story
