Samantha Fish Releasing New Album

09/03/2013
.
(The Blues) Samantha Fish has revealed details of her upcoming second album, Black Wind Howlin', which will be released ahead of a five-date tour in the UK.

The rising star says the twelve-track follow-up to 2011's Runaway is a much more developed affair. Fish explains: "A prevalent theme is: 'I'm not going to take your sh*t any more.'

"Since completing Runaway I've been on tour pretty much non-stop. I've spent a lot of time writing, playing and listening to music. I feel the themes and sound of my music have matured."

The "sh*t" she'd had to deal with includes reaction to her age, appearance and gender. "People come out just because you're a girl," she says, "but then you have so much more to prove once you get them in the door." more on this story
