Christine McVie Ready To Play With Fleetwood Mac Again

09/05/2013
.
(Classic Rock) Former Fleetwood Mac singer Christine McVie has said she's ready to perform with her old bandmates again and if they invite her on stage during their upcoming UK tour, she'll accept.

She's also been listed among the guests who'll attend the UK premiere of Stevie Nicks' documentary movie In Your Dreams, which takes place at the Curzon Mayfair in London on Monday.

McVie retired from Mac in 1998. Although she's come to a handful of the band's shows since then, she's always refused to sing with them and drummer Mick Fleetwood earlier this year admitted he'd had to agree to stop asking her.

But that seems to have changed. BBC Radio 2 host Johnnie Walker revealed he'd spoken to McVie last week. He said on air: "I did put the question: 'Christine, is there any likelihood you might join Fleetwood Mac on the UK shows?' She said, 'If they ask me, I'd play.'" more on this story
