Daft Punk Release 'Lose Yourself to Dance' Video

(Radio.com) Daft Punk decided to forgo a full-length video for "Get Lucky," the first single off Random Access Memories. But for the album's second single, "Lose Yourself to Dance," the electronic duo takes a more traditional approach, in more ways than one.

Much like the "Get Lucky" clip, the video features Pharrell Williams and Chic's Nile Rodgers singing and playing guitar, respectively. It has a decidedly throwback feel, corresponding with Random Access Memories as a whole. There's an otherworldly appearance to it as well; the band's circular, lit-up surroundings are reminiscent of the inside of a UFO.

Williams, Rodgers and their robot friends perform atop an elevated platform, below which a bevy of disco dancers, ahem, lose themselves to dance. Really, that's much of what the video is a lot of dancing, some clapping and bobbing to the beat, closeups of Rodgers' rhythmic guitar playing, lens flare from the band's undeniably shiny suits, and more dancing. Check out the video here.
