(Prog) Former Pallas frontman Alan Reed has been confirmed as support act on the UK leg of Steve Hackett's upcoming Genesis Revisited II tour. Reed, who released his debut solo album First In A Field Of One last year, will deliver a solo acoustic set at seven shows during October.

He says: "Steve's one of my all-time heroes, and it's a tremendous honour to be asked to open for him. It's a daunting prospect but I'm really looking forward to it."

Hackett's Genesis Revisited II concert at London's Hammersmith Apollo was named Event Of The Year at the 2013 Prog Awards. It's set for release on DVD next month. Check out the dates here.
