Deep Purple Preview Perfect Strangers Live DVD

(Classic Rock) Deep Purple have released a new video clip from their upcoming Mark II live DVD Perfect Strangers. The video features their performance of the title track.

It was shot in 1984, when Ian Gillan, Ritchie Blackmore, Roger Glover, Jon Lord and Ian Paice gathered for the first time since 1973 to record the studio album of the same name.

Guitarist Blackmore has often referred to it as his favourite Purple track of all time. The DVD runs to 141 minutes and includes 15 songs and a tour documentary.

It's released on October 14 via Eagle Vision. Meanwhile, the current Purple lineup are gearing up to launch a new single Above And Beyond taken from this year's album Now What?! on October 25. Check out the video clip here.
