I think "Journey' is the appropriate song that reflects the personal pursuit of every creative soul who wants life to be perfect for themselves & their love ones.. After all ..we are all on this journey making one choice after another...moment to moment day after day...

While collaborating with Malcolm Bruce ( Jack Bruce's son ) we both shared personal experiences with Jack; Malcolm as a son and I , as a collaborator in 'West Bruce & Laing."

Separate lifetimes ...culminated in a piece of repertoire that fit perfectly into the philosophy of the opera creators (Dr Takala and Dr Havry).

The relevance of the lyrical content resonating with the timber and the tonal quality of Maya Paakkari and helped make this one of my proudest musical moments.

The subtle cracks in her passionate vocal interpretation...convey a very emotional moment of her past..and her present... however, we come away knowing nothing will break her spirit...

You can taste the tears upon her lips as she takes the bitter with the sweet
