Frank Ocean Close To Finishing New Album
. In a post on his Tumblr, the R&B singer confirmed he might not attend Coachella, which begins this weekend and also runs the next, instead opting to "stay in the groove" and finish his next album, which would be his first since 2012. Missing Coachella wouldn't be particularly troubling for anyone but Ocean himself; he's not performing at this year's festival and would be there as a spectator. However, he added about Outkast, who's reuniting at the fest: "I feel like they're finna wild out tho," and weighed the option of taking a helicopter out anyway. That's not all he had to say about Outkast; the Odd Future crewman also revealed he'll be opening for the Atlanta hip-hop duo at this year's Pemberton Music Festival, which revealed its full lineup today (April 9). Nine Inch Nails, deadmau5, Soundgarden and Kendrick Lamar are also among those performing at the fest, which will be held July 18-20 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
