Glenn Hughes and Jason Bonham's California Breed Release New Song

.
Glenn Hughes and Jason Bonham's new group California Breed have released a new lyric video for debut single "Midnight Oil," which comes from their forthcoming album.

According to the band, the new animated lyric video for Midnight Oil," was created by Nev Todoroic who spearheads the interactive media production company The Young Astronauts.

Apart from Hughes and Bonham, the group also features 23-year-old guitarist Andrew Watt who had the following to say about the video, "We wanted a lyric video that would make people want to watch this song in addition to just listen to it, one that would highlight the bombastic grooves of the track and convey the rhythm of the message. I turned to my friends, the Young Astronauts, whose previous videos have hundreds of millions of views, but they don't work with a lot of rock bands and I thought THAT'S the magic, right there."

Hughes adds, "It's a refreshing animated video that really captures the lyrical concert and message of the Midnight Oil single. We didn't want to make a run-of-the-mill lyric video. The animation perfectly captures the raw energy, lyrical content and the message of what Midnight Oil is really all about... rock n roll!!"

The band will be releasing their self-titled debut album on May 19th in North America and the UK and on May 16th in Europe. Check out the video here.
