Chief Keef's Cousin and Collaborator Blood Money Killed
. Chicago police confirm he was shot in the chest and left on the sidewalk at around 9:30 p.m. CT. He was taken to a local hospital where was pronounced dead at 10:29 p.m. CT. Another man was also shot in the same physical location and is currently in serious condition. At around 5:45 a.m. CT, someone with access to Blood Money's Twitter account logged on to post two tweets that include the hash tag "#BloodMoneyLivesForever." Blood Money, whose given name is Mario Hess, was signed to Interscope Records two weeks ago, his cousin and manager Renaldo Reuben Hess told CBS Chicago. He reportedly recorded several songs for the label in Los Angeles last week and collected a $50,000 advance. Chief Keef responded to the tragedy by posting a simple picture to his Instagram of the rapper, with no caption.
