Velvet Revolver Star Plans Masterclass
. Taking the form of an onstage interview and multitrack demonstration in Studio A, Kushner will provide rare insights and chart Velvet Revolver's success from multi award-winning hard rock super-group through to his status as de rigeur film and TV composer with recent credits including his Emmy-nominated theme for hit TV series 'Sons of Anarchy'. The interview will be followed by an audience Q&A, where guests will get a chance to ask their questions on Kushner's work with both Velvet Revolver and his soundtrack work. "I met Jimmy Page and Brian May before going onstage at the Hammersmith Apollo," said Kushner as the event was announced. "Let's just say the UK has always been good to me and I look forward to returning the favour at Metropolis Studios." Attendees will hear Velvet Revolver as never before, as Kushner plays the original multitrack masters of their biggest hits on the state-of-the-art audio equipment here at Metropolis, deconstructing his creative process... From Metal To Movies. Lucky fans will also get a meet and greet/signing opportunity with Kushner post-masterclass. "Dave is a genuine member of rock and roll royalty!" said Metropolis CEO, Ian Brenchley. "The stories he has to tell will be very entertaining. He is so knowledgeable about music and writing hit records and soundtracks and the handful of lucky fans that manage to bag themselves a ticket will be in for a treat. I have a feeling Dave will have some surprises up his sleeve too." Find some additional information and tickets here.
