Avicii, Santana, Wyclef & Alexandre Pires 2014 World Cup Anthem
. It is an honor to take part in the 2014 FIFA World Cup and have 'Dar um Jeito (We Will Find A Way)' selected as the anthem," Santana said in a press release. "Along with my brothers, Wyclef, Avicii and Alexandre Pires, we look forward to performing the song in Rio de Janeiro in July and sharing this message of light and hope on the FIFA World Cup stage," referencing the fact that the artists will indeed bring the track to life during the closing ceremony of this year's World Cup competition. The song features a driving dance beat from Avicii, while Santana's distinctive guitar work can be heard throughout the track. Wyclef and Pires take turns handling lead vocals, all culminating in a big, singalong chorus sure to rock the 12 Brazilian stadiums (and subsequent TV coverage) of this year's matches. "In Portuguese Dar Um Jeito means to find a way around obstacles and impossibilities," added Ash Pournouri, Avicii's manager and a musician who also worked on the new anthem. "With this track, we wanted to send a message of optimism and opportunity with the music and the words." Check out the song here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
