Kurt Cobain Death Scene Note Mocked His Wedding Vows

(Radio.com) A newly revealed handwritten note found at the scene of Kurt Cobain's death finds the Nirvana frontman's marriage vows to Courtney Love mocked. According to CBS News, the note was found in Cobain's wallet after his body was discovered on April 8, 1994, logged into evidence in the Seattle Police Department case file, and never made public until now. The contents of the note are disturbing, to say the least.

"Do you Kurt Cobain take Courtney Michelle Love to be your lawful shredded wife" the letter reads, adding, "even when she's a b**ch with zits and siphoning all (your) money for doping and whoring"

These sentiments run counter to Cobain's original suicide note, where he spoke of Love in much fonder terms: "I have a goddess of a wife who sweats ambition and empathy."

The note is sure to fuel speculation over the status of the Cobain-Love union at the time of his death, which over the past 20 years has generated a wide range of theories - including the idea that Love was somehow involved in Cobain's untimely demise, which was broached in Nick Broomfield's 1998 documentary, Kurt & Courtney. More details and the photo.
