On Monday Angel Haze Reveals Studio Version of 'Drunk in Love' Cover was a top story. Here is the recap: (Radio.com) Remember Angel Haze's cover of Beyonce's "Drunk in Love" earlier this year? Say hello to its studio version. After premiering the cover on BBC Radio 1′s Live Lounge last January that scored over 200,000 views on YouTube, a professional recording arrived Friday via Soundcloud, The Line of Best Fit reports.

Backing music-wise, little is different from the top 10 hit from Beyonce and husband Jay Z. Vocally, much of Beyonce's original track is kept - particularly on the chorus. As such, there's a little less rapping here than was present on the BBC version, but she makes up for it in the song's intro and once she arrives at the spot normally reserved for Hova's verse, spitting flame over the track and showing off why she's one of the genre's rising stars.

She adds some of her own verses into the mix, creating a version that's part cover and part mashup - but all unmistakably Angel Haze. "I get high off of your presence / and drunk all in your love," she raps, also adding choice lines like "To be honest I turn up / So I can turn my ego down." - more on this story
