On Monday Paul McCartney Discusses George Harrison In Unearthed Interview was a top story. Here is the recap: (Radio.com) On Minimation, Radio.com comb through the archives of legendary New York radio station WNEW-FM and animate interviews with legendary rock artists. This installment is taken from a 1984 interview with Paul McCartney where he discusses his former Beatles-mate George Harrison's reluctance to do press.

"He doesn't really like doing interviews," McCartney said of his former bandmate in this interview. "Sometimes, it can be a pressure. You'd rather be out playing in the park and then you've got to sit and do an interview." Ah, the life of rock stars.

Harrison had historically been the Beatle who least enjoyed the promotional grind, and McCartney acknowledged that in this interview, saying "George was always more forthright than us, he'd just say, 'I don't want to do it.'"

"He's not just a crazy recluse who lives up in some place and guards himself from the world he likes gardening more than music these days. If that's what his bag is, you've got to allow him. You can't say, 'You're a musician, you shall not garden.' You've got to let him do what he wants," he says, before getting to a very revealing choice of words: "[He's] a big boy now." Once the youngest Beatle, forever the youngest Beatle.
