50 Cent Premieres 'Hustler' Video (Recap)

.
On Wednesday 50 Cent Premieres 'Hustler' Video was a top story. Here is the recap: (Radio.com) 50 Cent doesn't mess around when it comes to his workflow. Just hours after premiering his new song "Hustler," the rapper dropped the music video for said song. Perhaps he made someone (Vevo?) an offer they couldn't refuse; after all, the new clip features the man born Curtis Jackson donning definite period piece attire, in this case that of an early century gangster.

The black-and-white video features 50 Cent and co. with a surrounding border emulating a movie reel. One moment he's rapping in front of a nondescript brick wall in a black hat and suit, another he's in front of a white spotlight with only his silhouette visible, and yet another he's dressed down a bit but still looking spiffy in a white dress-up shirt and tie, and adjusting said tie like folks do when they're trying to look important, or something. Oh, and cigars!

Rather than opt for a guest singer to contribute the song's hook, it's all 50 here, singing "I'm a hustler, baby," before launching into rap verses that are pure, unadulterated 50 Cent, including a verse about stacking paper like he's "trying to fix the national debt." There's even a Migos reference in there can you spot it? Hint: it may be hard to believe, but it's a certain word, repeated over and over.

The track, officially released as a single today (April 15), is off Animal Ambition, the upcoming fifth LP from the rapper. Featured artists include Yo Gotti, Jadakiss, Trey Songz and more. Animal Ambition is out June 3.
