The solo acoustic set during Bluesfest 2013 was another of his acclaimed live appearances. Nugene Records say: "This is Ian at his most punchy, pugnacious and smash-and-grab exciting. No bells, whistles or safety nets - just a world-class performer bleeding into some of his favourite songs."

The record also includes three spoken-work interludes. Siegal appears at the North Sea Jazz Club in Amsterdam on April 17, where he'll record a live album with his Dutch band: guitarist Dusty Ciggaar, bassist Danny Van't Hoff and drummer Raphael Schwiddessen.
