Ace Frehley Includes Historic KISS Surprise In New Promo Photo (A Top Story)
. A posting on Ace's Facebook page (which also wished Ace a happy birthday for April 27) explained that the image was taken on April 8 in New York City by photographer Jayme Thornton, "just two days before Ace's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame; Ace was in a fantastic mood, and wore something from the first KISS album photo session to make the occasion extra special. Don't worry if you can't spot it, just yet... numerous cool photos from this session will reveal it soon!" Space Invader, Ace's first new solo album in five years, will be released on eOne Music on June 24. It'll feature a cover of Steve Miller's "The Joker" as well as at least nine original tracks. "Life on Earth has been very good to me, and the body of work I've created over the years has withstood the test of time," Ace says. "Today I see no obstacles before me and my creativity has never been more fine tuned. Growing up in an Alien world has enhanced my senses and allowed me to succeed where others would have failed. The best is yet to come!" Check out the photo and see if you can spot the KISS surprise - here. Gibson.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
