Diplo Reflects On Madonna in the Studio Recording Her New Album
. As reported a while back, Diplo and Madonna teamed up on a song, possibly titled "B-h, I'm Madonna." While that song in question doesn't get mentioned in the story, Diplo did reveal that he's working on four or five songs for Madonna's next album with producer Ariel Rechtshaid, who's become a favorite in the indie-crossover world, working with everyone from Charli XCX to Sky Ferreira and Vampire Weekend. One of the songs Diplo made with Madonna was inspired by a drunk late night in the studio. "I think three are just like amazing, smashes," Diplo said. "One is super weird. Late one night in the studio we got a little bit drunk and she improvised a little hook and we made a song out of it. I think it's going to be a breakthrough if she can manage to get everything together and get it out properly." If you're wondering what Madonna's drink of choice is, the answer is "Ros. It was nice. I don't think she really drinks, either." As for how Diplo and Madonna first linked up? Find out here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
