On Tuesday Slipknot Announce North American Prepare For Hell Tour was a top story. Here is the recap: (Radio.com) The members of Slipknot revealed the title and release date for the band's new album, as well as the dates for an upcoming North American tour. Called .5: The Gray Chapter, the band's new album will hit stores Oct. 21, just four days before the first date of their Prepare For Hell Tour.

Available for pre-order now on iTunes, .5: The Gray Chapter features 14 tracks, with two bonus songs available on the special edition disc. Pre-ordering the album will unlock two instant downloads, including the group's previously released single "The Negative One" as well as the unheard "The Devil In I."

Slipknot will kick off the Prepare For Hell Tour immediately following back-to-back Knotfest headlining performances at San Manuel Amphitheater & Campgrounds in San Bernardino, Calif. With Korn and Kings 810 serving as openers, the North American tour officially kicks off Oct. 29 in El Paso, Tex., and wraps up Dec. 7 in Boston, Mass.

"We've been waiting a long time for this," Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor said in a press release. "Not only do we get to tour with friends who we respect, we've also chosen a band that represents the fury of the future. Slipknot is coming to your town. And hell's coming with us."
