Jimmy Page Named GQ Magazine's Rock God Of The Year
. When asked about Plant's lack of interest, Page responded, "Sometimes I raise my eyebrows at the things he says, but that's all I can say about it. I don't make a point to read what he says about Zeppelin. But people will read me things he has said, and I will usually say, 'Are you sure you're quoting him correctly?' It's always a little surprising." During the interview Page appeared to become upset when the interviewer continued to ask questions about drug use, even after Page asked not to talk about it. When the interviewer pushed the topic by saying, "But you supposedly had a serious heroin problem, so how did you quit?" Page responded, "How do you know I had a heroin problem? You don't know what I had or what I didn't have. "All I will say is this: My responsibilities to the music did not change. I didn't drop out or quit working. I was there, just as much as anyone else was." You can read the full feature here.
