Capital Cities' Sebu Remixes Warren G & Nate Dogg's 'Regulate'
. Sebu Simonian, half of Capital Cities, posted the song to his Soundcloud account yesterday to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the original track. The only resemblance to the original song are the vocals; Simonian, a former TV commercial music producer, removed the heavy hip hop beat and remixed the track entirely, adding backing vocals and keyboards. With comedic flare, Simonian subtly added himself to a photo of Warren G and Nate Dogg as if he'd been a third member. Originally released in 1994, "Regulate" reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and is widely considered the duo's breakout song. Read more here.
