Madonna's Leaked Diss Track Not About Lady Gaga

(Radio.com) Madonna would like everyone to stop making up rumors that she's feuding with Lady Gaga. After Madonna's Rebel Heart demos hit the internet earlier this month, the Material Girl decided to offer up a 6-song EP on iTunes. But a more recent leak, which followed another barrage of leaked demos--14, to be exact--included a supposed diss track called "Two Steps Behind," believed to be aimed at Lady Gaga.

Adding fuel to the fire was the song's line, "You're a copycat, get back/I'm always on your mind," which could easily be a not so subtle reference to Gaga's "Born This Way" sounding more than a little like Madonna's "Express Yourself."

But, in a Twitter Q&A, Madonna's manager Guy Oseary shot down those reports.

"That song is NOT about Gaga or anyone in particular," Oseary tweeted, adding, "the song is an unfinished demo she had no intention of finishing or releasing along with many others. She has NO ill will towards Gaga. It's nonsense. She was listening to [Gaga's] Tony Bennett duet album last week and appreciating it."

Oseary also tweeted that "we are working hard to solve this crime," in reference to the demo leaks, "Madonna feels extremely violated to have her unfinished work stolen and released." Read more here.
