Nicki Minaj High School Acting Class Video Surfaces

. (Radio.com) Before she was Nicki Minaj, she was Onika Maraj, and she had no problem throwing a phone at you. In a clip from British TV series You Saw Them Here First, the rapper is shown at her alma mater, the Fiorello LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in Queens, N.Y., in an acting class.

Naturally, she brings the same fiery intensity to the role she's playing as she has her rap career; though she's only in high school in the clip, one can see the seeds of her future career have been planted.

The scene shows Minaj yelling animatedly at an attorney attempting to get her child back, finishing the scene by tossing a phone--which nearly hit the other student, as her coach had feared. Later in the clip, she's shown performing in front of prospective agents. Watch it here.
