Taylor Swift continues to dominate popular music as the country singer turned pop star has now become the first artist since The Beatles to have four consecutive studio albums spend six or more weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart.

Swift's new studio album, "1989," has so far been No. 1 for six weeks. Her previous album, "Red", was No. 1 for seven weeks, "Fearless" was on top for eleven weeks and "Speak Now" was lead the chart for six weeks, according to Yahoo! Chart Beat.

She still has a long way to go to break the record set by the Beatles. They had seven consecutive studio albums hit No. 1 on the chart for six or more weeks beginning with "Beatles '65" through their 1969 release "Abbey Road".
