Taylor Swift Hits New Milestone, Comes Closer To Beatles Record
. Swift's new studio album, "1989," has so far been No. 1 for six weeks. Her previous album, "Red", was No. 1 for seven weeks, "Fearless" was on top for eleven weeks and "Speak Now" was lead the chart for six weeks, according to Yahoo! Chart Beat. She still has a long way to go to break the record set by the Beatles. They had seven consecutive studio albums hit No. 1 on the chart for six or more weeks beginning with "Beatles '65" through their 1969 release "Abbey Road".
