D'Angelo Releases New Album Early (Recap)
. D'Angelo's latest was set to be released on Dec. 16, but at the album's listening party Sunday (Dec. 14) it was revealed that the album would-surprise!-be available at midnight on iTunes instead. During the listening session it was also revealed that the album-D'Angelo's first since 2000's Voodoo-would include guest spots from Questlove-who collaborated on three of the record's 12 tracks-and Q-Tip, who tweeted that he co-wrote the song "Sugah Daddy," which D'Angelo was released on Saturday.
