Trace Adkins Planning New Album and Film in 2015 (Recap)
. In an interview with the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Adkins talked his plans for a new album and film in 2015. In the midst of his winter tour, Adkins is filming a movie about car racing called Roadrunner and said he often feels inspired from the actors around him. 'When you're on a movie set, you're surrounded by incredibly talented, creative people, and I find that environment stimulating and invigorating, and I dig it," Adkins said. 'In order to grow in this life, you have to get outside your comfort zone, and when I'm doing that stuff, I have no idea what I'm doing, so I'm certainly outside my comfort zone." Adkins admitted that while he has been getting plenty of offers to star on television and in film, he's being picky. "I turn most of them down," he said. 'I'm at a place in my life and my career where I can do that; I don't have to take everything that comes along."
