(Classic Rock) Last week a Red Hot Chili Peppers spoof track hit the headlines. Now it's the turn of a Nine Inch Nails rip-off. LA musician Freddy Scott released his light-hearted mickey-take This Is A Trent Reznor Song.

The song was just five days ago, but it's already had nearly 250,000 streams on Soundcloud, while a lyric video has topped 70,000 views on YouTube. It's all in the best possible taste, as Scott admits: "It's a song I made about the songwriting process of one of my musical heroes."

Meanwhile, Reznor has confirmed his revamped NIN are working on a new musical project, which will take place while they're on the road over the coming months. Check out the song here.
